Manisha,

NFSV4.2 is also mentioned in:

Section 6.3.3.3.2 Mounting exports in NFSv4 Mode

IMPORTANT
The default version for RHEL 8 is NFSv4.2

Should the above be removed as well?

No.

This is the default mount version on RHEL 8 clients.
This needs to be mentioned in admin guide so that the customer avoid using 4.2 mistakenly when given with only vers=4 option in mount command.

Manisha ,

Please verify the preview link where only one instance of NFSV4.2 is removed.

Comment 9 Manisha Saini 2020-01-29 08:39:27 UTC
I can still see mention of v4.2 protocol for RHEL 8

==========
 NFS-Ganesha is a user space file server for the NFS protocol with support for NFSv3, NFSv4.0, NFSv4.1, and NFSv4.2 (Only for RHEL 8).
==========

v4.2 is not tested/supported for RHEL8
