Description of problem:

Importing an SVG image as Geometry crashes FreeCAD

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:

Everytime


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new document.
2. Import SVG as Geometry (File->Import->pick SVG file-> select radio button for import as geometry.
3. Crash!

Actual results:

Crash

Expected results:

Should get the shape of the image that can be used to extrude or pad to make it a solid that can be used in CAD models.


Additional info:

This is a known issue within the FreeCAD community, and seems to affect everyone regardless of which distribution you may be using.

This has already been reported:

The reasons it was only fixed in rawhide is in that bug report.
