ping? (0.40.0 is out since May.)
Fedora 29 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-11-26. Fedora 29 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
Huh, seems like the EOL bot is going bananas...
(In reply to Felix Schwarz from comment #6) patches are welcome, when I have some time I will take a look.
(In reply to Itamar Reis Peixoto from comment #7) > patches are welcome, when I have some time I will take a look. Eli Young mentioned that he is waiting for certbot 1.0 (likely because there are a lot of packages to keep in sync and 1.0 is expected "soon"): https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/certbot/pull-request/3#comment-34501 In the mean time I started publishing a COPR https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/fschwarz/certbot-epel8/ (git: https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/fschwarz/rpms/certbot/commits/master ). Currently this is "work in progress" because I need to remove some unnecessary runtime dependencies (python-mock, only in CentOS "PowerTools" repo, not enabled for deployments by default).
(In reply to Felix Schwarz from comment #8) > I need to remove some > unnecessary runtime dependencies (python-mock, only in CentOS "PowerTools" > repo, not enabled for deployments by default). I wouldn't worry about that too much. The CRB/PowerTools repo is expected to be enabled by EPEL users: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL#How_can_I_use_these_extra_packages.3F
