Hi, I'm hoping to build python3-dateutils for epel6 but its build uses setuptools_scm. Please consider adding at least a python3(4) setuptools_scm to EPEL 6
I really don't have the interest. Would you be willing to maintain it?
Hi Orion, I'll request the epel6 branch. I am happy to maintain. I'll only add the python3 build, we are long past where we want any updates to python2.4 these days unless someone else explicitly asks. Thanks. Steve.
Seems I can't request a branch if it exists already which does of course make sense. Not sure how I get access to the branch? Anyway surprisingly there is no python3-pip in epel6 so - https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pip/pull-request/46 is required.
I've added you to the python-setuptools_scm repo.
