hco-2.0.0

In the 2.1.1 release, CNV changed its display name from kubevirt-hyperconverged to container-native virtualization operator (https://pkgs.devel.redhat.com/cgit/containers/hco-bundle-registry/tree/olm-catalog/kubevirt-hyperconverged/2.2.0/kubevirt-hyperconverged-operator.v2.2.0.clusterserviceversion.yaml?h=cnv-2.2-rhel-8#n158). The current production deployment uses the old name and the old (2.0.0) description (see attached). You can still launch 2.1.1, however this is not a good UX. OLM appears to favor the 2.0.0 CSV over the 2.1.1 CSV for some reason (https://pkgs.devel.redhat.com/cgit/containers/hco-bundle-registry/tree/olm-catalog/kubevirt-hyperconverged/kubevirt-hyperconverged.package.yaml?h=cnv-2.2-rhel-8).

CNV doesn't look like the only operator with this issue. Elastic search also has the same issue.

elastic search should be 4.3

Comment 2 Fabian Deutsch 2020-02-20 08:32:35 UTC
There were many updates to the CSV metadata - those updates have likely addressed this bug as well. Moving to ON_QA.
