Description of problem: Please branch and build python-click-plugins for EPEL8
I do not have any interest in maintaining any EPEL builds. If you wish to do so and can't already do it, I can request the branch for you.
I can do it. But you probably want to add me to the repo in pagure (FAS orion). Thanks.
I need to manually enable the automatic python dep generator for EL8. Any problem with me checking this into master? diff --git a/python-click-plugins.spec b/python-click-plugins.spec index 21c268f..c89d59a 100644 --- a/python-click-plugins.spec +++ b/python-click-plugins.spec @@ -25,6 +25,7 @@ Summary: %{summary} BuildRequires: python3-devel BuildRequires: python3-click >= 4.0 BuildRequires: python3-pytest +%{?python_enable_dependency_generator} %description -n python3-%{srcname} %{_description}
That is fine, though anything more substantial I would prefer to leave on a separate branch. Though looking at the repo now, you'd have to be sure not to bring the package.cfg file back to any Fedora branches. Maybe it's best not to merge back, then.
I'll just leave it in the epel8 branch.
