Description of problem:

Anaconda crashes early in it's startup

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

rawhide 2006-01-06

How reproducible:

100% on two different machines

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use boot.iso, rescue.iso or PXE vmlinuz

Actual results:

anaconda crashes and gives traceback
with bad magic number in anaconda_log.pyc

Expected results:

Anaconda starts up
