Diff between kernel configs 5.3.8-300 and 5.3.11-300

1. Please describe the problem:
After upgrading to kernel 5.3.11-300 from 5.3.8-300 the sound on my Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7 stopped working.

2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel:
5.3.11-300

3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue
*first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at
   https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 :
I needed to load firmware from elsewhere to make the audio work, but the required kernel modules were present.

4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce
   the issue below:
I will re-compile a new kernel with the appropriate configuration values (I already had to do this previously on Ubuntu 19.10) and report back if that fixes the issue.

Looking at the diff between the previous and current kernel configurations, I can see clearly that support for Intel's SOF audio hardware has been removed.
Those CONFIG_SND_SOC_SOF_* configuration options are necessary for the audio to work.
