Scott, what's the status here?
Word on the street is that there is a rosdep release is imminent, and it will include some RPM-related changes that I'd like pulled in. That said, there really isn't a reason to update the Fedora package from 0.17.1: https://github.com/ros-infrastructure/rosdep/compare/0.17.1...0.18.0
Ah yes, 0.18.0 really doesn't seem to contain anything useful, thanks for pointing this out!
