Description Guenther Deschner 2019-11-26 16:14:01 UTC
Description of problem:

Samba in RHEL 7.8 will update to a higher version (4.10.5) than RHGS currently has (4.9.8). We always need to be ahead of the RHEL samba package, therefor we need to rebase the samba package.

RHEL7.8 samba rebase bug for reference: Bug #1724991

Comment 4 Vivek Das 2020-03-02 08:31:49 UTC
yum update for samba succeeds with RHEL-7.8. Moving this bug to verified.
