Note that this wouldn't be an issue if assumed invariants on how libxml2's data structures always held. Alas, that appears broken in XML::LibXSLT Perl module for years -- problem that wasn't exposed until this v2.9.10 release. Applying this patch won't make the problem in the Perl module go away, but at least it will mask it again sufficiently enough to prevent, e.g., Publican segfaults.
