Description of problem: /usr/bin/calc is used by package calc for many years. calcium-calculator is a newer package - why uses it the same name for the binary excecutable as an existing package? It should use another name, which is not used by other packages, for example /usr/bin/calcium-calculator (as the package name). Both packages should be installable at the same time, because they did different things, but currently they conflict with each other. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): calc-2.12.7.2-4.fc31.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. dnf install calc calcium-calculator Actual results: Error: Transaction test error: file /usr/bin/calc from install of calc-2.12.7.2-4.fc31.x86_64 conflicts with file from package calcium-calculator-7.9.5-2.fc31.x86_64 Expected results: No error, both packages should be installed.
