Windows Update functionality is coming. We shall modify our guest identification to make it work Presumably only for 4.4 cluster level as we need to change SMBIOS strings
Verified with: - RHV 4.4.0-0.32.master.el8ev - libvirt-6.0.0-17.module+el8.2.0+6257+0d066c28.x86_64 - vdsm-4.40.13-1.el8ev.x86_64 Verification steps: 1. Create a Windows VM and attach windows installation file (in my case en_windows_10_enterprise_x64_dvd_6851151.iso) 2. Once the installation is done, if needed, install the network driver (NETWORK ONLY) by guest-tools disk 3. Run windows update Result: - VirtIO drivers installed successfully by windows update. NOTE: the installation has done with SATA drive since VirtIO/VirtIO-SCSI requires an additional device for the disk drivers during the installation (even though the NIC is e1000 type)
