Red Hat Bugzilla 1744385 0 medium CLOSED One device can be created to multiple PVs by local storage provisioner 2023-09-14 05:42:08 UTC

Description Christian Huffman 2019-12-17 16:06:58 UTC
This is a documentation extension of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1744385 .

If you define the same device under a different StorageClass name with the LocalStorageOperator, then it will create multiple PVs. We should include a note warning users against this in the documentation.

This note should be backported to 4.2, and should be removed once the linked BZ is addressed.
