Description of problem: When try to use the primary selection (highlight string to copy, middle button to paste), it does now work Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.15.0-1.fc30 How reproducible: Always, by trying to copy and paste using primary selection Steps to Reproduce: 1. highlight a text to copy a string 2. use the middle button to paste the string Actual results: content is not copy and pasted Expected results: content is copy and pasted Additional info: I upgraded from kitty 0.14 provided by [0] where it worked. Not sure if the break was upstream in the 0.14 -> 0.15 release, or if the package has been built differently introducing the problem. Hello. I tested this in F31 with kitty-0.15.0 on i3wm and middle click works. I updated to latest 0.15.1 but since Bodhi doesn't work at this moment please first try install directly from Koji this latest version and post here work it for you or not. I guess this could be because or Wayland session. Please try to test on Xorg as well.
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply! The problem is still present in the 0.15.1 version you linked. I think the reason why it works on your machine but does not on mine is that you are using Xorg, while I'm using Wayland. Xorg and Wayland use two different primary clipboards, and I guess that for some reason it gets compiled without the one for Wayland. Also you can try 14.6 version from Koji and if it still doesn't work for you then this probably packaging issues https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1404168
I do not have Xorg on my machine, so I can not test it on it. With the 14.6 version linked, it does work, so it could be something not related to the packaging itself!
