Description peyu 2020-01-06 07:28:02 UTC
Description of problem:
The packaged "RHVH-4.3-20200105.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" does not seem to be the latest version of RHVH.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHVH-4.3-20200105.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install "RHVH-4.3-20200105.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" and reboot
2.Check image and placeholder version
  #imgbase w
  #rpm -qa | grep update

Actual results:
1. # imgbase w
You are on rhvh-4.3.8.1-0.20191219.0+1

2. # rpm -qa | grep update
geoipupdate-2.5.0-1.el7.x86_64
redhat-virtualization-host-image-update-placeholder-4.3.8-1.el7ev.noarch

The image and placeholder version of "RHVH-4.3-20200105.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" is the same as build "redhat-virtualization-host-4.3.8-20191219.0.el7_7".

Expected results:
"RHVH-4.3-20200105.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" is the latest RHVH, not "rhvh-4.3.8.1-0.20191219.0+1"

Additional info:

Comment 2 peyu 2020-01-06 09:50:24 UTC
The new package "RHVH-4.3-20200106.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" is correct.

Test steps:
1.Install "RHVH-4.3-20200106.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" and reboot
2.Check image and placeholder version
  #imgbase w
  #rpm -qa | grep update

Actual results:
1. # imgbase w
You are on rhvh-4.3.8.1-0.20200105.0+1

2. # rpm -qa | grep update
geoipupdate-2.5.0-1.el7.x86_64
redhat-virtualization-host-image-update-placeholder-4.3.8-1.el7ev.noarch

"RHVH-4.3-20200106.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso" is the latest RHVH. So I move the bug status to "VERIFIED".
