When running the ensure-module-upgrade-path scripts it shown the following error: Comparing 'virt:8.1-el8.1.1 (5388)' vs 'virt:8.2-el8.2.0 (5274)' Package libguestfs is incorrect: libguestfs-1.40.2-16.module+el8.1.1+5309+6d656f05 > libguestfs-1.40.2-14.module+el8.2.0+4793+b09dd2fb It seems that av-8.1.1 has a higher nvr than 8.2.0 Since the upgrade is suppose to be done with dist-sync, this is not a major issue. However it's not ideal and might reflect missing patches, so it's worth investigating.
> It seems that av-8.1.1 has a higher nvr than 8.2.0 Sure, because no work was done on AV 8.2.0 -- it will be synchronized from AV 8.1.1 once that one is cleared from blocking issues / testing failures.
Verify the bug with builds: virt-v2v-1.40.2-20.module+el8.2.0+5433+9e1420c8.x86_64 libguestfs-1.40.2-20.module+el8.2.0+5433+9e1420c8.x86_64 Steps: 1.Prepare a rhel8.1.1 server and install virt:8.1 module. 2.Upgrade the virt module to virt:8.2. 3.After installing, check the new packages info. Result: Upgradation can be finished successfully, and the packages info are right.so change the bug from ON_QA to VERIFIED.
