Description Vasishta 2020-01-12 09:54:15 UTC
Description of problem:
When different scenarios were tried together, all scenarios involving osd_auto_discovery set to true were failed apparently because of devices added into 'devices' list twice

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ceph-ansible-3.2.38-1.el7cp.noarch

How reproducible:
Always (2/2)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure cluster with multiple osd scenarios including one for which osd_auto_discovery is set to true

Actual results:
Devices are getting added to the list of devices which is causing failure of configuration of cluster

Expected results:
Cluster must be configured as per the reuirement

Just a note on this, a customer was able to successfully use this osd_auto_discovery option with ceph-ansible-3.2.38-1, as part of ceph deployed with openstack overcloud (osp13).

Their ceph nodes had 16x SSDs and 2x NVMEs, and 1x ATA SSD (OS). The SSDs were used as OSDs and NVMEs were used as WAL/DB.
