+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1782129 +++ Description of problem: On a newly installed and fully upgraded Fedora 31 workstation, I installed the avogadro package. That went ok, without errors. But now, dnf finds unresolvable dependency issues when updating. The problem might be in the sip packages that were installed as a dependency. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): avogadro-1.2.0-26.fc31.x86_64 avogadro-libs-1.2.0-26.fc31.x86_64 sip-4.19.18-6.fc31.x86_64 python2-sip-4.19.18-6.fc31.x86_64 (clip) After rebuilds of avogadro in #1782129, the problem of unresolved dependencies still remains. For some reason, the F31 buildroot has a newer version of sip than the distro does. Please fix the version incompatibility, after which avogadro can be rebuilt against the correct version of SIP with the correct API version dependence.
> For some reason Why does exist a double version of SIP api in a stable Fedora release? This is the real problem.
Last pending update (https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-4637c0d5bb) is installable on Fedora 31, sip-4.19.19 has been updated just now, Avogadro looks started correctly.
