Utilize more SOAP APIs to get the complete view of VM config. Using this would enable getting additional information important for migration of VMs from ESX.

Examples include the whole HW topology, device addresses, boot order of disks, and way more information.  It is also way better documented and we would not have to rely on guesses in the VMX

After evaluating this issue, there are no plans to address it further or fix it in an upcoming release.  Therefore, it is being closed.  If plans change such that this issue will be fixed in an upcoming release, then the bug can be reopened.
