Because I was a bit confused by the bug chain, here's my current understanding in case it helps others: * 4.4 bug 1789708, currently ON_QA * 4.3 bug 1794852, currently waiting on bug 1789708 getting VERIFIED before the backport PR can be landed. * This 4.2 bug, currently waiting on bug 1794852 getting VERIFIED before the backport PR can be landed. Status update: * 4.4 bug VERIFIED [1]. * 4.3 PR refreshed and happy [2]. We're waiting on: 1. A patch-manager to add the cherry-pick-approved label to the 4.3 PR so it can land. 2. ART to build a new 4.3 nightly with the change. 3. QE to verify the 4.3 bug 1794852. 4. A '/bugzilla refresh' on the 4.2 PR 24454. 5. A patch-manager to add the cherry-pick-approved label to the 4.2 PR so it can land.
