Description of problem: There are a few omissions/mistakes in the doc. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHHI-V 1.6 Additional info: 1. chapter 5.1.1 , section 8 It would be awesome to have either a description or a link to manual configuration. This point is so important for a proper cluster, that it should be a little bit more explanatory. 2. chapter 7, Device, Code Example the content is: --- [root@ ~]# cat /etc/multipath/conf.d/99-custom-multipath.conf blacklist { devnodes "sdb" } --- but must be: --- [root@ ~]# cat /etc/multipath/conf.d/99-custom-multipath.conf blacklist { devnode "sdb" } --- 3. Chapter 8, section 3 (virtual management details) A link should be included for a guide to configure this afterwards.
This looks important details to be fixed in the document, providing qa_ack to be fixed in RHHI-V 1.7

Here is the feedback from the customer: --> You mean the 'Static IP configuration". Could you explain more ? Afaik, RHHI needs two dedicated interfaces to function properly. A picture, explaining this a bit better or at least some lines of text how one should configure the network properly would be nice. I think most of the engineers will create a bnd, if they see 2 dedicated interfaces, if not stated otherwise. Therefore it should be made clear, that a bond is not needed, if only 2 interfaces are present. --> You mean configuration engine notifications post deployment? Exactly, if one is not able to configure notifications at this point, there should be a link or explanation how this can be done POST deployment. Thanks again for your support. I am always impressed of the speed, expertise and time you at RedHat are investing in my cases.
