Created attachment 1661724 [details] Version of the -fno-common patch for 4.0 You are welcome. I prefer not to get involved in a version upgrade, but will leave that to you. The patch for 3.9 does not apply cleanly to 4.0, so I am attaching a version of the patch that does. I sent the 4.0 version of the patch upstream.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 32 development cycle. Changing version to 32.
