1. modprobe dm-mirror
2. rmmod dm-mirror
3. ps aux | grep kmir_mon shows the worker thread is still running

committed in stream u4 build 34.5. A test kernel with this patch is available
from http://people.redhat.com/~jbaron/rhel4/
