This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Thank you for confirmation. If SSSD is offline for whatever reason and the master map is not yet cache it sends an empty result to autofs when it requests the map. Setting sss_master_map_wait on autofs side will make it retry after few seconds. I'm going to close this ticket as not a bug, keeping in mind that https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1113639 tracks an improvement that will make sssd and autofs communication distinguish between empty result and an error retrieving the information so the option will not be required anymore.
