Description Damien Dye 2020-02-14 14:28:07 UTC
a build of certbot-dns-cloudflare for EPEL 8 would allow for functionality found in EPEL 7 to be done with EPEL 8.

without this using cloudflare DNS management for cert management requires out of package management PIP builds.

update has been pushed to stable

Comment 4 Damien Dye 2020-05-18 11:00:33 UTC
The version doesn't support cloud flare API tokens. only the master key

Comment 5 Felix Schwarz 2020-05-18 11:23:32 UTC
I think this bug should stay closed because it was about having certbot-dns-cloudflare in EPEL 8.

I assume the certbot plugin has some API token support? If so you the problem is probably in python-cloudflare (and you should file a new bug against that component with a specific description what you need). We are currently shipping version 2.3.0 in EPEL 8 but I could look into updating that if required. You could speed up that process by checking which version provides support for API tokens and that version is incompatible to the current EPEL 8 version.

Comment 6 Damien Dye 2020-05-18 13:01:39 UTC
hi yes version 2.3.1 is required for tokens to work correctly as per best practice from cloudflare.

Comment 7 Felix Schwarz 2020-05-18 14:52:20 UTC
I pushed an update to 2.7.1 for EPEL 8 - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2020-7029447ce2

Please try if this version works and give karma if it does :-)
