Description Kenny Tordeurs 2020-02-17 09:56:41 UTC
Document URL:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.7-beta/html-single/installing_satellite_server_from_a_connected_network/index#tuning-satellite-server-with-predefined-profiles

Section Number and Name:
3.14. Tuning Satellite Server with Predefined Profiles

Describe the issue:
We can now set the tuning directly via the installer rather then using the Github scripts

root@ktordeur-sat67 ~]# satellite-installer --full-help | grep tuning
--tuning INSTALLATION_SIZE Tune for an installation size. Choices: default, medium, large, extra-large, extra-extra-large (default: "default")

Suggestions for improvement:
Use the installer:

root@ktordeur-sat67 ~]# satellite-installer --full-help | grep tuning
--tuning INSTALLATION_SIZE Tune for an installation size. Choices: default, medium, large, extra-large, extra-extra-large (default: "default")

Note: We can keep the info about the RAM and number of clients just use the installer rather then using the Github scripts.

Hey folks,

This is tracked in BZ#1780016

Almost done with the drafts as well. You can close this as a duplicate, I think.

Thank you
