I got the same error after doing the same update as @Christopher Tubbs on Fedora 31 which also stops rebooting completely so have to shutdown and start my Machine again! My kernel version is exactly the same as initial comments. I then installed akmod-nvidia using the instructions on https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/NVIDIA which then gives me the error below: WARNING: CPU: 11 PID: 538 at lib/refcount.c:28 refcount_warn_saturate+0xa6/0xf0 [nvidia_drm] nv_drm_atomic_helper_disable_all Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=(hd0,gpt2)/vmlinuz-5.5.6-201.fc31.x86_64 root=/dev/mapper/fedora_localhost--live-root ro resume=/dev/mapper/fedora_localhost--live-swap rd.lvm.lv=fedora_localhost-live/root rd.lvm.lv=fedora_localhost-live/swap rhgb quiet systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=0 rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau modprobe.blacklist=nouveau nvidia-drm.modeset=1 Any help, suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
