Description Mark LaBonte 2020-02-18 18:49:09 UTC
Created attachment 1663879 [details]
import from vsphere ui

Description of problem:

The ova file for vmware installation (rhcos-4.4.0-0.nightly-2020-02-13-103342-x86_64-vmware.x86_64.ova) is failing import to vsphere (via ovftool and vsphere ui)

This issue has not been seen in any of our 4.2/4.3 testing.

The checksum looks fine and I'm able to extract the contents of the ova and verify that there is an .ovf inside.

(scenario) [jenkins@jslave-d5d84afc ocp4_upi_install]$ ovftool --quiet --noSSLVerify -o --name=rhcos_aucsscluster --diskMode=thin --vmFolder=ocp-cluster-1 --datastore=vsanDatastore /var/lib/jenkins/workspace/CSS-OCP4-VMware/scenario/ocp4_upi_install/rhcos-4.4.0-0.nightly-2020-02-13-103342-x86_64-vmware.x86_64.ova vi://administrator:R3dh@tVM.lab.eng.rdu2.redhat.com/?ip=10.8.32.27
