After update, kernel does not work with Wi-Fi

2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel:
kernel-5.5.5-200.fc31.x86_64

3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue
*first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at

Testing with Rawhide...

I was test #Wayland with #sway in #Fedora 31 with #intel + #nouveau drivers.

My first impression is a #VirtualBox bug that I have in i3wm it's solved here, in sway. In #i3wm, I couldn't worked well with VirtualBox because I lost the window VM control. So, I have to start another wm likes #Fluxbox or my favourite Desktop Environment, #MATE to work with it.

By other hand, not all is a roses way. System tray notification does not work very well with a lot applications likes nm-applet (#NetworkManager), #Parcellite clipboard, #TelegramDesktop, #SMPlayer...

nm-applet for example, doesn't see in systray. When I try to run it, I get a segmentation fault by default likes #blueman-tray. But, not always crash. Some applications likes Telegram Desktop shows systray icon, however, when you want to see options of this application that's does not showed. Same happend with SMPlayer video and nm-tray (another applet for NetworkManager).

Other freaky story that I get with sway. It's when I set up #virt-manager launcher as key shortcut. When I launch virt-manager from key shortcut, that's run as infinity loop causing a oom_reaper violation (Out of Memory) and get system crashed... So... restart :)

But, If you run from dmenu launcher, you don't have this issue.

In the end, sway it's a very good wm for Wayland. You can run your X applications and Wayland ported software well, but need some fixes...

Could you put "iwlwifi" at the beginning of the bug summary:

"iwlwifi: Wi-Fi connection is not work after kernel update."

You could try:

kernel-5.5.6-201.fc31, kernel-headers-5.5.6-200.fc31, & 1 more
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-3cd64d683c

The attached dmesg has this:

[ 16.302659] iwlwifi 0000:04:00.0: Detected Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 3168, REV=0x220

> $ sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel

You might need to update fedora-repos first:

$ sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide fedora-repos

There is a list of updates here:

https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/?packages=fedora-repos
