Arkady, Can you clarify the reason for backporting this patch? The issue (downstream) is that cinder's replication feature is not officially supported in OSP. Is there another reason why you need this patch?
Alan, We can close this BZ, we don't have to backport if the downstream cinder is not offcially supported.
I'm reopening this BZ because the associated patch is in the middle of a 3-patch sequence that affects Unity backports to OSP-16.1. Patch 1: - Bug #1808577 - Unity driver version 7.0.0 Patch 2: - (This BZ) - Unity driver version 7.1.0 Patch 3: - Bug #1808578 - Unity driver version 7.2.0 So, while the consistency group replication feature won't be supported in OSP, the Unity driver patch is targeted for 16.1.3.
