Description Przemek Klosowski 2020-03-02 19:18:13 UTC
Description of problem:
The decoder menu does not appear on a dual-screen system: the button darkens but the menu window is not there.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pulseview-0.4.1

How reproducible: every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run pulseview
2. click on the yellow-green 'add protocol decoders' button

Actual results: the button grays, but no list appears

Expected results: pop-up window appears with protocol decoder list

Comment 1 Przemek Klosowski 2020-03-02 19:19:30 UTC
This has been reported https://sigrok.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1147 and fixed, after the release 0.4.1 which Fedora uses.

We should update pulseview to a newer version---0.4.1 was released in Oct 2018

Comment 2 Dan Horák 2020-03-04 17:14:47 UTC
Well, there is no release after 0.4.1 and the upstream fix doesn't look as feasible to backport.

Comment 3 Dan Horák 2020-04-01 08:05:13 UTC
and there is a new release 0.4.2, hopefully it will be fixed there, an update is in progress
