Description Riccardo Pittau 2020-03-04 14:38:58 UTC
The patch https://opendev.org/openstack/ironic/commit/c5dfa1bd9fe39eedbb60be537b5b3d83b1cde15b that introduces the manage_boot parameter, was backported downstream with other fixes to resolve https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1779288 to support redfish features including virtual media in-band inspection.
Unfortunately, the openstacksdk feature required to be compatible with that same backport was not included in 0.36 release, which is the latest in stable/train.
We will need to backport downstream this patch from version 0.37 https://opendev.org/openstack/openstacksdk/commit/bf4a9c1e127eacca760558cd55ef7abd484c7ed6 or won't be able to use the redfish driver correctly.
The backport can't be done upstream as the new parameter introduced is considered a new feature.
