Description of problem: When trying to fix glibd for Fedora 32+, the resulting library has the wrong soname embedded in it, which broke dependencies for the devel package and its runtime component. There's a fix upstream: https://github.com/mesonbuild/meson/pull/6356 Please backport the upstream fix. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.53.1-1.fc33 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. fedpkg co -a glibd 2. cd glibd && fedpkg mockbuild glibd 3. rpm -q --requires results_glibd/*/*/glibd-devel-*.rpm Actual results: $ rpm -q --requires results_glibd/*/*/glibd-devel-*.rpm ... libglibd-2.0.so()(64bit) ... Expected results: $ rpm -q --requires results_glibd/*/*/glibd-devel-*.rpm ... libglibd-2.0.so.0()(64bit) ...
0.54.0 is scheduled for next Sunday and the requested fixes are pretty far away from 0.53.{1,2}, so Iām going to build a git snapshot instead.
