Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
Previously, Heketi could not collect debug information on bricks that can’t be unmounted, because of the missing lsof command in the container. With this update, the lsof package is included in the rhgs-server container image. Heketi can now collect the list of applications that prevent a brick from unmounting.

Description John Mulligan 2020-03-17 14:57:29 UTC
Description of problem:

Heketi tries to use lsof to automatically help with the debugging of umount failures. However, lsof is not present in server container images as far back as 3.11.0. We lose a helpful behavior from heketi without having the tool present, forcing the admin/support to do extra work.

Including the tool is very low cost to us.
