Description Petr Viktorin (pviktori) 2020-03-25 12:54:21 UTC
With the latest update, tipcutils started depending on /usr/bin/python2 from the deprecated package python27.
Can the dependency be removed?

Comment 1 Lokesh Mandvekar 2020-03-25 12:57:50 UTC
Peter, are you still maintaining tipcutils? Could you please take a look at this?

Comment 2 Peter Hanecak 2020-03-25 16:46:51 UTC
Yes, I'll take a look.

Sorry, my bad: I did an update, noticed that it now contains also Python utilities but forgot to check whether that is Python2 or Python3.

Comment 3 Peter Hanecak 2020-03-25 20:03:01 UTC
Since XXX does not work with Python 3, I've dropped it from the package.

New build available:

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=42767767

Is this sufficient? Can I close this?

Comment 4 Peter Hanecak 2020-03-25 20:04:15 UTC
XXX = tipc-trace (one of the utilities in the package)

Comment 5 Petr Viktorin (pviktori) 2020-03-26 09:35:18 UTC
Yes, that's sufficient. Thank you!
