Comment 3 Akshay Adhikari 2020-04-21 09:32:12 UTC
Build Tested:

cockpit-389-ds-1.4.2.12-1.module+el8dsrv+6328+f04d7471.noarch

Steps:

1. Open the Directory Server user interface in the web console.
2. Select the instance.
3. Open the Server Settings menu, and select Server Settings.
4. Open the Directory Manager tab.
5. Set a password.
6. In the confirm password field enter random text (should be different to "Directory Manager Password" text box).
7. Try to save the configuration (Should not happen as the password is mismatched).

The password is only getting changed if both the text in password fields are the same. The server is doing confirm password field check.

Marking it as VERIFIED.
