Description sgouvern 2020-03-27 13:34:34 UTC
Description of problem:
After changing the changelog directory path, when clicking on 'Save', Cockpit has a unexpected internal error, and keeps looping on 'Saving changelog configuration'

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
cockpit-389-ds-1.4.2.9-1.module+el8dsrv+6001+1cbc6dcf.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to 'Replication' Tab
2. Select 'Replication changelog'
3. Change the changelog directory path
4. Click 'Save'

Actual results:
A red message Ooops appears at the top right of the console.
A waiting indicator 'Saving changelog configuration' is displayed indefinitely.
The only way to get out is to reload the console url

Expected results:
The changes are saved and cockpit keeps on running

With
 cockpit-389-ds-1.4.2.12-1.module+el8dsrv+6328+f04d7471.noarch
 389-ds-base-1.4.2.12-1.module+el8dsrv+6328+f04d7471.x86_64

The changelog directory path can now be modified from 'replication' / 'replication changelog', without problem

=> marking as verified
