Description of problem: On cockpit 209 a inactivity timeout of 15 minutes has been added, Since the installation doesn't save state, this can cause problems. See: https://cockpit-project.org/blog/cockpit-209.html
let's disable it in cockpit.conf.
how would you configure it automatically, from within cockpit once you start deploy?
(In reply to Michal Skrivanek from comment #2) > how would you configure it automatically, from within cockpit once you start > deploy? There is no good way of doing it, I sent an email to cockpit devel to suggest extending the timeout and providing a more flexible way of configuring it (with the package manifest config file and/or cockpit API). We will wait to their reply before starting to implement a solution. In the meantime the workaround is to configure the /etc/cockpit.conf file as described in: https://cockpit-project.org/blog/cockpit-209.html
+1 for configuring it in cockpit.conf for now till cockpit team have better solution, targeting to 4.4.0
Let's try to get this in this week.
Test with RHVH-4.4-20200417.0-RHVH-x86_64-dvd1.iso, bug is fixed.
