Description Federico Iezzi 2020-04-16 07:23:57 UTC
Description of problem:
To integrate with an external Performance Monitoring solution (in our case, VMware vROps), we need to use the collectd amqp 0.9 plugin. Currently, we don't ship it.

This would allow us to emit metrics, gathered by collectd, to the RabbitMQ bus provided by VMware for further processing by their software stack.

The main aim is moving the customer to a fully supported and signed package by Red Hat, without the amqp 0.9 plugin we're force to rely on pure upstream bits.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
OSP13, OSP15, OSP16 and OSP17

Comment 2 Matthias Runge 2020-04-22 15:13:16 UTC
What kind of upstream bits are you referring to?

Full community collectd instead of provided by us
