Description of problem: I'm going through the instructions for hacking on gnome-shell extension and it requires at least TypeScript 3.8 [1]. It looks like the current version in Fedora is 2.8.3. The latest version upstream is 3.8.3 [2]. Could we possibly get an updated release of typescript in Fedora? [1] https://github.com/pop-os/shell#installation [2] https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/releases/tag/v3.8.3
I've just packaged it on copr if it helps https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/carlis/nodejs-typescrypt/ I'm noob at packaging so I don't know if is it valid enough but I was able to install Pop shell with it
Thanks Carlos. Maintainers - could we get an updated version?
Maintainers, please respond.
