Inscape refuses to import EPS files and it's not even listed among the formats in the import dialog.

Guessing that this is a Fedora build issue as I don't see any indication that upstream has dropped support.

Try inkscape-1.0-0.rc1.fc31.1 in updates-testing, that should help.

That version can indeed open EPS files just fine. Thanks.
