NM can crash when resuming from suspend if there is a bluetooth connection configured and a modem is detected. See the upstream bug report:

The NM version (1.22) in RHEL 8.2 is affected.

The crash is fixed upstream.

Unable to reproduce with 8.2. Having Mi A3 phone Bluetooth connection shared and USB GSM modem plugged in I am able to suspend/resume successfully in both 8.2 and 8.3 NM versions. Not sure if the bug report was not Debian specific.
