Description Amaani S Karimi 2020-04-28 03:25:32 UTC
1. Proposed title of this feature request

There should be a Plugin to add a new realm provider for managing hosts in Active Directory.

2. What is the nature and description of the request?

To have a plugin to allow foreman-proxy provision/remove accounts and password and help to manage AD users and also distribute the password to a kickstart file when needed.

We should publish smart_proxy_realm_ad_plugin into our official repository to make it possible.

3. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?

https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/4917

https://github.com/theforeman/smart_proxy_realm_ad_plugin

4. Would the customer be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented?

Yes
