Description David Pedersen 2020-05-02 21:52:41 UTC
Description of problem:
In the official default sway config the terminal emulator is set to alacritty. Fedora decides to do a sed in the sway.spec to replace it with urxvt256c-ml instead of packaging the recommended terminal emulator.

Packaging alacritty in Fedora and not a setting a custom terminal would give users trying out sway a better and more official experience.

You can try asking in devel.org if someone would be interested in doing the work.
Since alacritty seems to be written in Rust, I think it might be good idea to CC Rust SIG (more info: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/Rust).

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.
