Description Dariusz Garbowski 2006-02-27 16:23:26 UTC
Description of problem:
Installer did not correctly recognize and configure existing Kubuntu 5.10
installation in Grub.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Kubuntu.
2. Install Fedora Core 5 Test 3 on other partition(s).
3.

Actual results:
I got an entry with rootnoverify and chainloader +1.

Expected results:
Kubuntu nicely added to Grub config.

BTW: Kubuntu does this, i.e. recognizes FC5 and keeps it in Grub config.

Trying to guess how other OS's set things up is difficult to get right and so
it's far better to not try and just do chainbooting rather than guess and get it
wrong.
