Description Christopher Granade 2006-02-28 08:16:08 UTC
When using either the text-mode or graphical install, anaconda crashes
immediately after selecting a keyboard layout and pressing next, reporting as an
error message only that the install exited abnormally.

Comment 1 Chris Lumens 2006-02-28 15:20:41 UTC
What language and keymap did you select for installation?

Comment 2 Christopher Granade 2006-03-06 22:59:02 UTC
The default en-US and 101-key QWERTY.

Comment 3 David Cantrell 2006-03-07 15:00:14 UTC
cgranade, can you provide more details on the error you received? A traceback
or log or something like that?

Thanks.

Comment 4 Christopher Granade 2006-03-08 09:55:39 UTC
How do I get it to drop an error log? It didn't provide any sort of traceback or
log that I could find.

Comment 5 David Cantrell 2006-03-08 17:53:24 UTC
Let's try something else first. Can you check the SHA-1 digests of the FC5 Test
3 media that you downloaded? For i386, it would be here:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/test/4.92/i386/iso/SHA1SUM

Comment 6 John Thacker 2006-05-05 13:18:27 UTC
Closing due to lack of response.
