Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

.FreeRDP has been updated to 2.1.1 This release updates the FreeRDP implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) from version 2.0.0 to 2.1.1. FreeRDP 2.1.1 supports new RDP options for the current Microsoft Windows terminal server version and fixes several security issues. A new version of freerdp (2.1.0) is available [0]. Please upgrade the package on RHEL 7 from 2.0.0-rc4 to 2.1.0.

This is needed to support newer Windows RDP options for the newer Windows terminal server version.

Just note that this probably requires Vinagre rebuild including the following fix: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vinagre/-/merge_requests/12.

Just note that there is also kdenetwork-krdc package which also depends on freerdp, but it calls the binary directly, so it should not be a problem there. However, I have some connection problems over kdenetwork-krdc even with the 2.0.0-rc4 version, so it would be worth to investigate this...

Just note that the `/multimedia` option (which corresponds to  `--plugin drdynvc --data tsmf` in the old syntax and is defined by [MS-RDPEV]) is no more available with 2.1.1 version and `/video` option (defined by [MS-RDPEVOR]) is expected to be used instead. This is because the TSMF channel is unmaintained and not used since Windows 7. See for more details: https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/5906

I have just fired a new build including https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/6238 fix for loading of shared libraries that prevented usage of /video option.
