Spec URL: https://decathorpe.fedorapeople.org/packages/hamcrest2.spec
SRPM URL: https://decathorpe.fedorapeople.org/packages/hamcrest2-2.1-1.fc32.src.rpm

Description:
Provides a library of matcher objects (also known as constraints or predicates)
allowing 'match' rules to be defined declaratively, to be used in other
frameworks. Typical scenarios include testing frameworks, mocking libraries and
UI validation rules.

NOTE: This package provides version 2 of hamcrest (versions 1.x are packaged as hamcrest). However, they are incompatible, installable in parallel, provide different maven artifacts, and have different build systems - so I decided to package version 2 separately. This way, packages relying on hamcrest 1 APIs and packages relying on hamcrest 2 APIs can co-exist.

Comment 1 Fabio Valentini 2020-05-11 13:22:37 UTC
Belay that order, it looks like hamcrest 2.2 was released, which should fix some incompatibilities with 1.3 APIs. I'll investigate.

Comment 2 Fabio Valentini 2020-05-11 13:36:11 UTC
Nope, hamcrest 2.2 still won't work with applications relying on hamcrest 1.x APIs, so we will need this package.
