kwin 5.18.90 seems to be expecting a "KWaylandServer": https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=44735027 https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//work/tasks/5027/44735027/build.log CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:128 (find_package): Could not find a package configuration file provided by "KWaylandServer" with any of the following names: KWaylandServerConfig.cmake kwaylandserver-config.cmake this is a result of this upstream change: https://github.com/KDE/kwin/commit/3a9d7a6e9d7555a96d5f0177bb12bc347b0ba2f6#diff-1d4ac734ed6099ae211912245085d087 I can't find a package that provides a KWaylandServerConfig.cmake , not sure if we don't have it or I missed it. Arch has it in a 'kwayland-server' package, but we don't have anything like that. This is blocking Rawhide composes ATM because we can't build the KDE live images, see https://pagure.io/releng/failed-composes/issue/1459 . Marking as an automatic blocker per "Bugs which entirely prevent the composition of one or more of the release-blocking images required to be built for a currently-pending (pre-)release".
So we untagged the 5.18.90 builds that have been done so far to unblock Rawhide; I'm taking this off the blocker list since composes are OK again now.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle. Changing version to 33.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 33 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 33 on 2021-11-30. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '33'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 33 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
This must've got fixed ages ago or else we'd have been complaining a lot more.
